Amazing! You've caught the silkiness of the fur so well, and those eyes and wet nose are perfect. I could just reach out and stroke him he looks so real. Very well done. ( I'm a sucker for dogs as you might have guessed ! )

It is a superb painting. It must have taken ages to achieve the fur. It is on the top cover of the Leisure Painter. I love it, well deserved.

Thank you everyone for you're comments. Thank you Beatrice. The painting took about 4 days to finish. It is in Leisure Painter but they used the wrong photo. I did send a copy of this photo which is more like the painting. The photo they used looks like the one I sent in to enter the comp. I had a new camera and took this one which the colours are right. Thank you again.
