It is a beautiful painting. The leaves are the right colour, being darker makes the rose head stand out more.

I agree with Sarah... the glow of the rose leads the eye down to your beautifully painted vase, without being diverted by the leaves, which I think are just the right tone.

Perfect rose in a gorgeous vase. The contrast of the pale pink of the flower an the strong blue of the vase is quite delicious.
