I couldn't believe this was pastel Paul, I thought it was oil. Lovely mellow shades and the intense red is convincing fire. Great subject too!

Absolutely lovely. Doesn't look at all like pastel. The brickwork is fantastic;the colours really mirror the workplace. Love the reflections on his shirt and apron. The painting is so full of life and energy . Well done
