Painting children is a huge challenge. It's all in features and you've got them spot on!

Very charming portrait. The difficulty with painting small children is retaining the 'young-ness' of them. However, you have achieved this wonderfully well in this excellent painting.

You are very kind Kim and Thea. Thank you. I started with pencil sketches to get the hang of the subtle tonal changes that helps a lot.
