Speed is not important. I think these are great and would happily display them together as finished works.

Thanks for all the great feedback, I'm going to keep going with these. Heather for the lips I don't use a prescriptive mix for lips. The lips are the same value as the rest of our skin but with more red blood cells. I mix a big pile of base tone to match the base tone of the subject that I use for most of the portrait and for the lips I add bits of Alizarin crimson and white to create 2-3 tones for the lips. Hope that helps.
