Completed in charcoal, this was such a pleasure to draw. Its quite refreshing to draw pets in a completely new pose, something unusual. I loved the very dark shadows of the reference photograph which meant almost all of the dog was plunged into darkness. It made me focus on cleaner lines and accurate proportions.
