"Underground" by Paulene Allett

This is just my kind of thing. This is very well executed and the atmosphere is spot on. Just to show off future postings better, maybe crop the photo so we only see the painting.

Excellent painting. I actually thought the surrounding brown and grey was part of the painting! As though you had been looking through the tube train window. Excellent painting either way (would actually make a great original painting if it was painted ike that!) Jean

I was trying to work out how the view was taken with the grey behind it. I agree it would be better cropped but what a wonderful painting. So many stories could be told about those people.

Paulene I really admire this and am fascinated to know how you went about it. Any chance you could give us some insight into the process on a blog? My reason for asking is that often I will draw/sketch fellow bus travellers, but want some help in putting notes together. ps. I think it works with and without the blinds behind it!
