From a still life. I just got back from a portrait painting course in the Netherlands, instructed by Teresa Oaxaca. It's got me back into seeing and painting from life rather than from images on my iPad. The size is 20x20cm and it's painted using Rublev and Gamblin oil colours on linen board.
