Painting of a painting

The only way to do it is to pick up that brush - says she who hasn't for a few days now but who is THINKING about painting a lot. When you say this is a painting of a painting... do you mean yours Peter, or someone else's?

Wow, thanks for all the positive feedback. I painted this a3 (biggest ive ever done) painting of some daffs that someone painted and was published in a book. Got a great teacher. He welcomes ýou to the class of about 15 novices like me,supplies paint,paper,pencils,brushes even coffee and hobnobs half way through the evening....Its like painters on line but with real people......Did you know im in 2 camera clubs,the art class,magic club,snooker club and race model speedboats on a saturday. Simply love retirement. Cheers. Peter.

Good for you - that's what retirement should be about. Worth coming to your class just for the hobnobs! Though the suggestion that we are perhaps not "real people" is a little daunting. Don't worry though, I know what you mean!

Glad to see you have retirement sussed. I'm working on a daffs picture now and this is a good reminder that I need to get back to it when i return from Hols Good effort Peter.
