This is a Plein Air gouache study made in preparation for carrying out the painting "Huge Music", also in this gallery . A striking image I well remember planning after spotting the subject from the bus as I returned after a day's work to the studio I was lucky enough to have in Calderdale for a while. I loved the dramatic semi-industrial landscape I found there. © 2003
