Interesting abstract, reminds me very much of my days in the Teacher Training art dept of similar era

I have to apologise for the fact that these abstract pieces have not survived completely unscathed! Here our new Head of Department, the late John Davie, challenged me to move on with an abstracting idea - regretfully I cannot remember how he did this, but I chose "Flight" as my theme, eventually producing a big 3-D plywood sculpture. Not only is my design in gouache, but the sculpture itself is painted with gouache - a lovely medium to work with! © Jo Morton 1966
