"Kingfisher" - Although some people have said it looks as if the kingfisher is eating a chip, I was quite pleased with my first attempt at feathers! The photograph of the painting is not perfect as the head appears rather too dark - I have learned with experience about photographing v. scanning. I used a picture from the RSPB magazine and, hopefully, managed to match the colours quite well.
