Hazel Hunter sent in her version of Paul's October challenge saying: 'This is the first watercolour I have painted in a few years, it does look more unctuous in life but I really enjoyed the challenge of painting it. I did do the messy water slats at the start but somewhere along the line they seem to have vanished. I also cropped the view to turn it in a landscape image as I found it a more interesting subject than all those leaves!. I did put some splatters on in an attempt to make them look like falling leaves. I'm definitely going to take my watercolours to my local art group (Wells) on Monday and try another watercolour instead of runny ink and watercolour pencil which is my current style.'
