Pauline Stevenson sent in her version of Paul's challenge saying: 'I painted Paul's challenge on mountboard. I sponged blue all over then sketched the hill in pencil. I used a sponge to add white for clouds and more blue for sky. A mixture of yellow and light green was sponged over the hill with added green and black for shadow/path. Greens, browns, yellows and reds were dabbed with a brush for the trees. Brown was smeared with a finger for the edge of trees and a fine brush was used with white for the gate and fence post/wire. Red for the 'reeds' was painted with a fine brush'
