Nena Parkes sent in her version saying: 1. Primed canvas with burnt sienna, raw umber and a touch of red. Allowed to dry 2. Blocked in sky with a mixture of grey, white and brilliant blue 3. Blocked in cadmium yellow allowing base to show through 4 . Layered in green areas a mixture of pthalo green and yellow 5 . Rubbed back and touched in some of base colour here and there 6. Washed over grey green glaze 7. Using palette knife and handle end of brush detailed background fence and trees and foreground suggestion of blades of grass. Materials: canvas, liquitex paints, flow enhancer 1" flat brush 1/4" flat brush and palette knife.
