I agree this works so well, a vibrant powerful painting good sense of depth with the darker foreground drawing the eye into the colours of the raging fire beyond and up into the smoky sky above

I watched a programme about the Australian bush yesterday. You really get the atmosphere and textures down to a tee, with that added extra. Even though the subject matter is very topical and dangerous, great pastel. I hadn't seen your Stockmen before - equally impressive.
