Evening Light on the Billabong

Wow Keith, this is really a nice piece! Great color and composition, reflections...I would buy it! And it is a pastel? Are you using stick or pencil or both? And what was your support for this one?

Thanks for the comment Cheryl.This in soft pastels but I do use softest charcoal pencil for the more detailed work at the finish The white highlights are a case of finding small sharp edges,Schminkie pastels used to be great for this but unfortunately at some stage in the past they changed to a harder pastel with a hint of yellow instead of blue.
