You can feel the cold and the atmosphere well done. my only concern is I the feel the figures could be a little more distant and more subdued the red seems to glare at you and takes your eye away from the scene.

Interesting thought from Rick - the figures could be further up the lane, and I suspect he noticed them to that extent because the painting was already interesting enough without them. However, it's certainly a very beautiful image, with some lovely touches of colour; and I think you've sorted this year's Christmas card problem!
