Interesting David, I use Cobra WM oils and find them fantastic, haven't tried them on bed sheets, would be a bit thin I suppose. Did you gesso the cotton before painting?

Thanks for the comment Maureen. Yes I thought it would be a little thin but no, after several coats of Gesso it turned out a good painting surface. I like to experiment with surfaces to paint on, I've even used a piece if laminate flooring! See Hot Suff https://www.painters-online.co.uk/gallery/owen-dudley/oils/251375/. First of all, we've got to believe it will be again! Secondly, I 've glued muslin onto board and painted over it, works a treat. Thirdly, wb. Oils ( I have Cobra) are good. Fourthly,I like your title and painting😉

Water-soluble oils has been used to paint When life was fun! Painted on a piece of disused cotton bed sheet, stretched on a home made frame. This picture is just to see how paint reacts on cotton and will be painted over asap.
