I agree with you about water-miscible oils - I know of one gifted practitioner with them, but on the whole I dislike them rather a lot! Your lady looks a bit TOO happy for her own good, to me - but bless her suspenders anyway.

Avery nice work of art Robert, gives the feeling of tranquillity.I have never used Chromacolour acrylic but the result from using it looks good. Thanks for your comment on my painting of 'Happy', I have now returned to 'proper' oils. Our Daughter works as a nurse (anaesthetic Sister), thanks for your support.

I used Water-soluble oils for this painting 10" x 8". No matter what anyone says, Water-soluble oils is not as good as traditional oils.
