Every now and then - to my annoyance - someone will come here and say of a painting that "it's just like a photograph" (they mean well, I know!); well this isn't just like a photograph, but somehow - and don't ask me how - it's more real than any comparable photograph could be. It's in the hope we can achieve this that some of us, perhaps most of us, paint at all - and you've achieved it here.
