Paintings disappearing from the front page don't mean that they have gone from your gallery it just means that someone else has posted a lot of work and pushed yours into your portfolio.

Thank you for your comment on painted lady> Yes it is a bedroom sort of pictuyre isn't it? I don't usually do flowers but was trying out a technique. I have searched for our seascapes and I can't find them either. What you have to do is log in and go to yur gallery. Look through your portfolios. If it's still not there then click on "create new portfolio then on add image. Once it's added, go back to your gallery then that portfolio and click add image again to add another picture. You should then end up with 3 portfolios inside your gallery. A lot of people forget to add them to an already existing portfolio and end up with single pictures dotted about just anywhere. You did everything right with your vehicles portfolio and the other one so I can't imagine where the seascapes went. Just start a new portfolio and add them again. Pictures on the front page only stay there for literally a few minutes if there are lot of people posting and when you've been on the site for a while your pictures won't even go onto the second page which is only a page of new portfolios. They will go into your existing portfolios quite a way back. Portfolios get arranged by the date on which they were created whereas the list of galleries one the left of the front page, is sorted by peoples first names. Gosh I hope that makes sense!

LOVE THIS PAINTING JOHN .........GREAT WORK! ................... IAN.

Hi John, I've been enjoying your bold comments on various work. they may get backs up but I think it's always wonderful to get negative as well as positive opinions. You should hear my family's condemnations sometimes, and if there's one thing I've been amazed by it's that taste/opinion is often so surprisingly polarised for one single painting, with someone raving about it and the next condemning it. I finally got round to painting the famous A1 tornado - http://www.painters-online.co.uk/gallery/picture.asp?id=23420 , would be interested in your comments!

very kind of you to be so generous about "Tornado unleashed". You know, I do struggle to get decent material to base railway painting on, usually having to freeze-frame video and work back from there, so if you might ever be prepared to let me have a bash at painting that 9F photo you've got, I'd be grateful... and of course I'd credit the photographer!
