Thank you Fiona i have made a few mistakes and the proportion isn`t quiet right but i shall have another go at some point.

I do like your background even before looking at the bird because you have really good texture there, which I'm guessing you used the dry brush technique for? You have painted this lovely Kingfisher using those amazing colours they have when we see them by the river. Good work David! Paul 🧑‍🎨

I did the background using a sponge with various shades of blue and green.
