Thanks, Tommy. I wasn't sure if the effect had actually been translated very well via the photo because as you'd expect the painting is much stronger in reality, but at least you can get a pretty good idea of what I was trying to achieve.

Hello Norma, thanks for your comment on my watercolours. I'm guilty of only browsing the watercolour gallery, otherwise I would certainly have seen this startling painting and complimented you on it. The rock texture is spectacular - not just lifelike, but very expressive. Well done!
