Well done, thought it was watercolour at first.

Thank you all so much! It was a very limited palette and a very basic design. Took little over one hour to complete. One of those rare times I knew exactly what I wanted and how to do it.

I wish. It would be cool!!! I am not as creative as it seems though. I get very frequent blocks, like the last couple of weeks.

Hi Nora, i like this piece for the painterly way you have handled the oils....like said above its easy to think this is a watercolour at first glance from the vibrance and translucency of the colours. I love to see the boundarys of traditional media challenged in this way. You proved your traditional skills with Still life III and this one shows your contemporary skill in use of colour and composition. Unlike myself you also seem to have a great drawing skill, i can never wait to get to the painting stage so that i can paint over my abyssmal drawing shortcomings.....steve
