Very different. Just about to try an abstract type painting myself, hope it turns out as good as yours! Just realised the more I stare at it the more I see. Well done.

Thank you Val. I can't figure out what is missing in this picture though.

Nothing missing for me Nora. I love the white pastel figure it really is great, Do you fix the pastel with anything? Your abstracts appeal to me (and some others of course). I am a little tentative with this kind of art. Excellent.

Really like this painting Nora, cant stop looking at it, really different!

Nora, thank you for your lovely comments on the plein air work. I am enjoying it much more with the new easel. I was always knocking the others over. To light. so I just stuck to watercolour and pastel when working outside. At last we have some decent warm weather which I'm sure there is no shortage of where you are. I can imagine this and a lot of your other work being very saleable. Best wishes Jeannette x

Really nice abstract. Very origial and effective. Like it.

Very interesting technique and effect. Need to do something similar on the background of a portrait I'm considering - how was it achieved?

Thank you Carole for your comment. From the top of the canvas, I dripped liquid acrylics and let them mix by themselves. I used a quiet palette, not to mud the colors. It is a fun way to paint, not much control over it though. When it dried I draw the figure with pastel. Thank you again!
