Hi Nicola-Jane, I looked through this portfolio...I like what I see good detail delicately coloured...a nice illustrative style...well done.

You have a really lovely style all of your own which suits watercolour, well done.

Val beat me to it - you have your own little style here coming along. It will just evolve and mature like a beautiful garden. Very well done.

I do hope this one takes pride of place on your wall! I'd certainly hang it on mine! I particularly like the sun-brolly and the flowers. The clever use of the red in a largley neutral picture draws the eye right in to the picture and compliments the green. It reminds me of a quaint farmhouse I once stayed at in Wales - adorable! If I had to pick, bearing in mind that I am a beginner myself, perhaps the perspective is a little out - but having said that, I think that this is all part of it's charm, and if it was spot on, maybe it wouldn't work quite so well as it does. Phil, Val & Jeanette have already mentioned your 'style' and I agree. Don't lose it!
