A beautifully painted sunlit scene. Clean and fresh. Is this local to the area you live, Nick?

Thanks Carol. Yes, I live in Hiroshima and this is a famous temple a few miles away.

Excellent Nick, the sunlight and those trees make the whole painting sing

Great love the shadows 👌

Great use of light, good one.

Wonderful use of light Nick and those tree shadows are superb, together with a very majestic temple.

This is a lovely watercolour so well done

The light is quite stunning.

Great job Nick…

A lovely watercolour. The paint flowed freely and caught the time of day nicely.

A beauty indeed

Such a serene and well-composed piece, Nick. The contrast between the majestic architecture and the soft organic shadows creates a perfect balance. Beautifully done. 🗻🏯

A watercolour painting on rough paper. Painted using a reference photo I took earlier this year.
