Wonderful light and very effective use of the mooring lines to draw the eye into the painting.

Fabulous Nick, I love the light in this

So light and airy Nick.Agreed with John’s comments and love those boats.

Lovely loose watercolour, love the use of subtle colours and loose brush strokes. Stunner!

A wonderful watery scene, beautifully subtle changes of colour in the sea. Tilting movement of the boats -Terrific.

I love the simple style and subtle colour palette.

Love the subtle colours and the ropes in the foreground. A very pleasing composition.

An apparently simple scene. But then you look further and see a lot of subtlety in this. The device of the mooring ropes to lead your eye in, but also, the reflections of the ropes are very well observed.

Very nice work , rope shadows really work well.

A watercolour painting worked up from a sketch and photographs. My first posting for a while, as always I value the opinions of this group so please feel free to critique. Thanks to all.
