Must have taken a lot of patience to do this - lovely!

Lovely composition.

It did... and at times I really didn't enjoy painting it! You can't see in the phito, but ther's some sculpture gel on the flowers, amd the closer cobbles. I was thinking of the contour lines on ordenance survey maps at one point, hence the squiggles in some of the cobbles.

Its brilliant. Well done.

Madeiran cobbled street. The street itself was in 'Monte', up above Funchal. The thing I remember most about the whole time there is the white-knuckle-ride of my driving... and the drive to this particular part of the country was a near death experience!
