geese quartet

Forgive me, but these look more like geese than ducks? Lovely fresh clean colours, the lighting on the bark of the tree is very good, and I love the way you have painted the grass in the foreground. I also enjoy the way the shadows of the geese join up to form a link between the birds, keeping them together.

Technically you are right! Changed title. Reason is that I live in south west France in the heart of foie gras country and these would be called canards hence foie gras de canard.

Lovely touch of the abstract in your painting, and I know this beautiful area well. Super colour work and use of limited palette. Good luck with the show
