THe composition gives this the feel of the wide expanse of the landscape and the house adds to the scale, just returned from a weekend in connemara and photos dont catch the atmosphere - your painting reminds me of it but doing those skies puts me off ! Lovely scene

I know this scene well as Skye was the venue for many lovely holidays for our family. This is a lovely, tranquil and quiet watercolour. Great feeling of open space and the remoteness of some of the bothies. Great work.

Neil, just seen many of your wonderful paintings on exhibition at Chirk Castle. I went to the exhibition to meet my friend, Julia Benning. So enjoyed all the paintings, but particularly your wonderful landscapes and so nice to see them 'in the flesh' rather than on a computer screen.
