Rabbits on the path

Neil, thanks for your comments re Jazza my lovely little Border Terrier. I must confess to being ignorant of the Vignette Style. However, I have looked it up and realise that I paint in this style a fair bit when using watercolour. No definite edge, a small pleasing picture, edges shade off gradually. Am I correct? Being a self taught artist is is always nice to learn something new. Love the rabbits on the path, I see many of these when walking the dog. You certainly do have your own style, light and not overworked lovely colours. Are you a teacher working in an art college? Or professional maybe? If it is the former then I am impressed with your style of teaching.

Hi Jeannette and thanks for comment Vignette....yes correct fade out at edges Self taught myself also Since early retirement I demonstrate to local Art groups,also teach once a week to my own class. I also set up lessons on the internet for a very friendly free to join art forum.

This is even better than the trees. I didn't know that this style of painting was called 'Vignette'. Could you let me know the address of the site where you set up lessons? I hope asking this is not a cheek but I live miles from anywhere and couldnt go to lessons. Thanks.

This is just beautiful! It is so atmospheric with lots of white and yet so colourful. The combination of colours is also very special. Love it!!!
