Thank you all for the kind words. I do love the finish you can get with charcoal but I can find it a struggle sometimes!!

Great work Neil. Like the contrast. I have been using charcoal pencils for a long time and find you can get some very fine detail. I can recommend Nitram square charcoal sticks too available in different hardness's which can be sharpened to a very long sharp point.
