Great stuff - you certainly made the right choice and clearly have talent and much to enjoy! :-) You will find many artists on here to inspire you also? Peter

Thanks a lot. I was scared to hear what people will say. I feel more confident now. I wasn’t sure about my job with the light/ shades... I can't wait to find the right inspiration (and to find time) for my next painting :)

I look forward to seeing them very much - if you are as good as this now - then wow it won't be long before you are holding exhibitions! :-) I have replied to your kind words on the/my swiss mountain painting for you. My gallery here is open to anyone to have a free show as a group or whatever so who knows, you might get together with other artists from this site in the future! :-) With summer coming lets see what you can do painting in situ? Next stage in painting such a street scene may be to have a go at figure/s ? My advice would be to keep them as loose as the rest of the painting - don't let them stand out like a sore thumb. Your delicate light and shades are fine - just enjoy and take it all bit by bit eh? :-) God, that we could all always succeed!? I have just put a new work on my site I am not sure I dare put here - a bit twee. Fantasy - so you see we all worry about being torn to shreds! :-) Bye for now. Peter

I like the feel of this. I can relate to it. well done.

Oil on canvas , (25x12.5) in. Same story as the first painting...Wanted something to remind me of back home where I grow up. Next time I'll try to look at the some photograph as it was kind of hard to paint it without watching the actual objects/ pictures. (As I never had time before (career, family, continuing education), finally I decided to spend my leisure time on painting and learning how to paint.)
