Light of treatment and loose of application suit this subject perfectly, it's probably had enough of a battering in it's time. Smashing Nancy

Beautiful watercolour Nancy. I agree you could do many variations from this subject, so interesting.

I love the use water colour although I feel the composition would have benefited from more of the building. Although can the obsession with parts of buildings and texture.

Lovely study, you have caught the weathered look of this old building very well.

"Pleasing decay" captured beautifully.

Beautiful style and great use of watercolour Nancy.

I remember visiting this place, it's a wonderful study of watercolour washes Nancy.

Love your loose painting and your palette - look forward to seeing more

Thank you all! I agree more of the building Valerie would make for a better composition....trying for some of the decay and the weathered, thank you all for noticing ....it is really a study and a play with the paints at this point. Appreciate you all looking in and your comments keep me going!

Simply beautiful, Nancy
