River Blyth, Northumberland.
Acrylic on canvas. This painting shows part of a walk along the river which I like. It depicts the overhanging Summer trees on the river bend. I wanted to capture the texture of the foliage and the calm stillness of the water contrasting with the rocky flowing area.
