Apologies Marjorie, I've just seen these comments. It's all oil on canvas. I sketched the wallpaper pattern in with chalk, then " coloured it in" ! I wanted to make it really vibrant to contrast with paddy's dark coat. Thank you everyone, for your comments, much appreciated.
