Edinburgh castle from Princes Street Garden

I love Edinburgh Shona and this is a good perspective of the castle. We have all started art from somewhere and a lot of us never attended art school. Good luck with your art journey. I also find YouTube videos good for learning.

I'd endorse the comment about looking at You tube videos, and given your subject matter here, would particularly refer you to the work of Tim Wilmot, whose videos are accompanied with a running commentary, explaining his rationale for painting the way he is- colour choices, timing etc. I'd also suggest your request feedback on here on one specific aspect of your painting on here that you think would be most helpful to you. People are always very encouraging and supportive, but tend to withhold the really useful commentaries about the specifics of the work, understandably not wishing to upset. Here the artist can help by specifying what they're looking for in the shape of feedback. Hope this helps.
