Reduction lino print, 17 colours on 13 passes. Image size 30 x 40 cm handprinted on 300 gsm Somerset satin paper 38 x 48 cm. An edition of 10 prints and 2 Artists Proofs. Inspired by the patterns in the sand left by the receding tide. This was on a beach on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland, with various reference photos taken by my daughter. I took a more painterly approach with the clouds in the sky, so each print varies a little - the clouds are a little puffier on some, wispier on other prints.
