Thankyou Heather and jiri. I suppose it is a little bit scary which was abit of a slip of the brush. Not my intention at all. O well. I'm glad you both think it has merit.

Another slow burning look Michael which holds the attention of the observer.

Thankyou. Whether a picture turns out ok or not is really by chance. My methods are in ways wrong and also incomplete. I think I might have adhd. I paint very quickly and with an urgency. I don't follow instruction very well. I've tried to learn. I might have some learning difficulties. I'm easily distracted. It greaves my mum that I can't seem to do things by the book and get the most out of myself. I'm not saying I'd be another rubens or velasquez but I know I'd be better than I am now. But thanks all the same for the praise.

Your dark paintings are so atmospheric in the way that the light then picks out the features. Very well done!
