This is great. If I were you I'd leave as is, her eyes are very Mona Lisa like, fascinating. don't underestimate your skills at portraiture.

A started this in acrylic which was beneficial for me since many portraits ive attempted have been failures due to my consistent corner cutting and lack of proper preparation. There is an urgency when I paint. I'm very impatient. So I often end in failure. But I started in acrylic so was able to continue almost immediately due to quick drying. I'm pleased with it. I will do more to her shawl and clothing. I find her expression abit unfriendly. Or is she just a proud strong woman. Or is she melancholy?
