I thought I'd take a little break from painting to focus on my great need to improve my drawing skills. I sort of began the attempt with the little sparrow I painted in watercolour the other day. But this is just pencil with some of it in white pencil. It's lovely when some use colour well but there's a real sense of achievement when you can see technical skill in drawing by other artists. Before I learned about colour I drew exclusively and I remember feet and hands I did age 16 or so which were good.
