Art is about people, not just paintings Michael, and you are a fine artist and better than you give yourself credit for. Paint on.

You're entitled to be irritable now and then - and who says you don't know what you're doing? I like some of your work more than other examples of it, but you've produced some very interesting portraits, and landscapes, showing that you DO know what you're doing. Self-criticism is a good thing, but don't become your own worst enemy in the process.

Michael, no need to apologise and your work is certainly not inferior in any way. In fact, I think a lot of what you do is far superior and glorious in many ways - this is a fine example, hats off to you. Please keep them coming,
