Brilliant perspective and recession - haven't seen such a good example of this for ages. Lovely work.

This is excellent. I love the sense of depth.

Thanks Thea (especially like your drawings) and Dawn (again) - that's four you've kindly commented on Dawn - you'll have to become my agent!

Lovely work Mike, it must look very impressive full size.

Thanks Stephen - I suppose the buyer must have thought so, and I certainly prefer it to the smaller version. I had a look at your work and notice you use most mediums, but seem to prefer watercolour for plein air work. I haven't painted outside as yet, but intend to, come better weather in the spring. It will be with oils though as I use nothing else. I just hope I can do it justice as I'm not the fastest painter.

I love your style of painting Mike. Slick but with in parts a toy town feel - very, very interesting stuff

I remember the photo you sent me of this. Very good job!

Oil on canvas 610 mm x 1220 mm 2013 Although the original oil painting was sold earlier this year, I have recently made available limited edition prints on canvas in two sizes, the original canvas size and 305 mm x 610 mm. Both are editions of 20 and so far two of each size have been purchased. The "St Mary Redcliffe" in the title is the same as mentioned in the notes to my other oil painting "The Death of Chatterton" (after Wallis).
