My commiserations to you and your family Michele, but this is a wonderful painting to commemorate your mother

I am sorry that you have lost your mother, I recently lost my wife and recognise some of the signs. But what better way to remember a loved one and thank you for your thoughts for others.

Another stunning portrait from you Michele. The other portrait you did of your mother in a mask remains one of my favourite paintings on this site. Both have been done with such sensitivity and skill. Your mother's eyes reveal her soul, just lovely. Very sad for your loss.
