One of the many new things I found that I liked when I was undergoing recruit training was learning how to “cam-up” properly. I found it a surprisingly well-thought-out procedure and nowhere near as haphazard as it appears in films. I am a great lover of chiaroscuro and a “cammed-up” face seemed like an interesting option and a bit of a change from my usual portrait subjects.
