I've started doing this sort of subject on black paper as I feel it help with the chiaroscuro effect (which I love!) and with the mood of the piece, as you mentioned. I really am interested in trying to convey the intensity of jazz. There's been some interest expressed in these works and I'm hoping for developments on that front! Fingers crossed! Thanks again!
