Loan cottage eskdale by Michael Farmer

After reading that I looked at the dark area but it seems balanced 2 o'clock and 6 o'clock.. Great painting and great atmosphere.

Lovely fresh picture and I think you have captured the remoteness of the cottage. The threatening sky over the sunny valley depicts the changeable weather in the dales very accurately.

Very evocative of the place. Full of drama.

I love the wet in wet sky. When you throw it on quickly like that you never know what you are going to get. That's the joy of watercolour. Great colour mixes in the mountain and hills too. Overall, very pleasing to the eye.
