Too many to thank individually but just to say how grateful I am that you have all taken the time to do so - much appreciated. Ivan: the road was painted in ultramarine blue with just a tad of light red plus cadmium orange which adds that bit of glow to the srface - and I can often see such a colour on tarmac roads so it also has a degree of authenticity.

I have been chasing bees lately and nearly missed this lovely painting of yours Michael! I love Payne's Grey and here it has darkened the shadows beautifully so giving more contrast, depth and light. Great work!

Very authentic interpretation of this typically British scene. Love the village sign and 30 mile an hour signs - they just add that note of reality to it all. Super work.
